At first the integration of baseball was not going well for Jackie Robinson, he received racial comments directed at him every game by fans and players alike. Robinson was not the first choice for integration in baseball, but he was probably the smartest choice because of his military background and ability to keep his temper under control when yelled at. Some people besides Robinson also integrated life by taking part in the Civil Rights Movement. Some notable Civil Rights activists are people are Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King Jr, and many more.
